Ingenieur “50th Anniversary” - What to expect?

I would not be shocked if IWC marks the Ingenieur’s 50th anniversary with special editions at Watches and Wonders 2026, most likely centered on the Ingenieur SL lineage. No official details have been announced yet, as far as I’m aware. Still, limited edit

The 1832 is impressive.

I heard it wears large due to its lugs but it is one of the most masculine Genta-watches. The RO and the Nautilus may be more popular but the IWC-design looks more purpose-built and the movement is bulletproof, while the ultrathin movements from AP/PP are

...probably almost unworn kind of MINT contidion. I also had the Ingenieur 866 (with blue sunburst dial and as prototype pilot watch, picture of the latter attached) but sold both of them. Cheers, HSTE
